Today was a brown day. Eric, Serene, Lloyd and I all wore the same shade of brown to class. One word. Embarrsing. Two words. Photo time!! The least to say, we did look like the black eyed peas meets fall winter '06. The black eyed peas FW '06 gained a new member when I lent Gabe my brown jacket. Rock on.
During marketing, Prof Seh-Woongs used my Jacob watch as an example of buying an image of prestige. Well if an image of prestige costs $60 then by all means did I get a good buy. Seh-Woongs is the funniest ever. He's my favourite prof this term. Today his hair had a momentary "there's-something-about-mary" moment and it struck a pose that was somewhat reminiscent of the cockatoo crest that I saw yesterday.
School is just starting to pick up again. It's pretty hard getting back to the grind. I find myself pressing the snooze button like it's a reflex action. My index finger has become more well trained than a chinese circus dog. Without being fully aware, it has a way of creeping up to my handphone and disabling the alarm. One thing nokia should invent is changing the snooze button everytime you set the alarm. That way you have to REALLY wake up and find the damn snooze button, and by then you'll be up. Genius.
Today there was a Jack Russell in school. I love dogs. The people organising animal day brought him. This saturday we're having an animal day in school, so we're allowed to bring animals. It's not as if we don't have enough animals in school already. Those muggertoads. If you take 171 from City Hall at night you'll catch the night animals when you pass through smu avenue. And it costs way less than the night safari. Guilty as charged to be honest.
Supposed to meet Tim for supper soon. We always say soon but somehow the soon part never really comes. Soon though. He wasn't able to meet us at 6th Avenue for pizza at La Donato the last time. That was really good stuff. Another point which further substantiates the argument that the epicentre of the earth really is the West side. Ali G would be proud. Respekt.
When I touched down at home, got a call from phoeweimseer about dinner at als jils. Al Jilani is a muslim eatery near school that is best described by the words "awesome possum" and "yumsness". Even though a non-malay speaking person may ordinarily presume it means KNNCCB in malay, it is apparently just a name. They have a fried chicken bryani so good it makes al ameen taste like yucks.
Their relationship is best described by the follwing scientific relationship:
Patricia Mok : Alessandra Ambrosio
Al Ameen : Al Jilani
Another day in school tomorrow. Time to get cracking.
